Tamino Gets Wet! – A Story with a Good Ending
One of our now many customers in Australia purchased a valuable autograph photo of famous pianist Vladimir Horowitz.
Item was carefully packed, sent immediately to collector. It took an unusually long time to arrive (over 3 weeks), but in the end it did. Surprisingly, the envelope was completely wet (see photos below), and had apologetic stickers added by the Australian Post saying it arrived like that from the US.
The story ended well, as after carefully opening the envelope customer found the item was nearly intact. The top loader in acrylic plastic we use for all valuable items perfectly protected it from an almost certain tragedy.
